At this shopping mall in India, the indoor play area was located on the top floor. The project required a varied play layout within 105 m², along with an installation approach suited to a location where the machinery normally used for structural assembly could not be used.
Nets Tribe ( also named Binzhou Nets Tribe Co., Ltd. ) completed a three-level rope net playground measuring 7.6 metres in height. The installation combines honeycomb climbing nets, connecting passages, climbing ramps, suspended ball swings and a ball pit within a colourful net play structure.
Planning an indoor playground in an existing space with restricted installation access?
For this shopping mall project in India, installation was a key consideration alongside the play layout. The site was indoors on the top floor, where conditions prevented the use of machinery normally required to assemble the structure.
Nets Tribe completed a 105 m², three-level rope net playground measuring 7.6 metres in height. The project brings together climbing nets, passages, swings and ball play, with an installation approach adapted to the building’s restrictions.

The top-floor location required the team to adapt the usual installation process. Based on the project manager’s calculations and installation planning, the installers assembled the structure manually using auxiliary tools.
This method addressed the conditions of this particular site. For buyers planning an indoor playground in an existing building, it illustrates why installation requirements need to be considered during design. The floor location, component delivery routes and permitted equipment all influence how the structure can be brought in and assembled.

Honeycomb climbing nets, net play surfaces and connecting passages form a three-level layout. Multiple entrances provide different access points, while climbing ramps and internal openings give children routes to explore. Suspended ball swings and a ball pit add activities alongside the climbing areas.
Honeycomb climbing nets are part of Nets Tribe’s standard product range and one of our core specialities. In this project, they were combined with other play elements to suit the available indoor space. The photographs of children using the swings and ball pit show how these features work within the completed playground.
Yellow, orange, red, green and blue netting brings colour to the play surfaces and surrounding mesh panels. Circular patterns highlight the honeycomb elements, while the dark support frame outlines the structure. Views through the mesh reveal adjacent activities and the coloured net surfaces overhead.
The project combines handwoven and crocheted play elements with machine-made base netting. The different patterns, textures and layered forms give the playground a distinct visual identity within the mall interior.
