Located on a campus in Indonesia, this project extends the school’s physical education environment through an immersive rope-based play structure. Inspired by the natural form of a tree, NetsTribe designed and built the Rainbow Tree Rope Climbing Net, seamlessly combining strong visual identity with functional movement play. Moving beyond traditional flat playgrounds, the design fully utilizes vertical space, featuring a high-strength steel framework wrapped in a flexible rope-net system to create a safe, three-dimensional, and dynamic activity environment. Internal circulation is organized according to the growth logic of a tree, guiding students from ground level upward through progressive climbing, crossing, and jumping experiences. The project supports the development of strength, coordination, and spatial awareness, while encouraging active exploration and continuous physical challenge within a campus setting.
